A butterflyfish with a long, flute-like snout.
"Longnose" in the English name also describes this elongated beak-like snout.
A very similar species is the longnose butterflyfish; the two can be told apart by the presence of a small black spot at the base of the pectoral fin — the copperband butterflyfish lacks this spot.
