Despite its English name "golden butterflyfish," what is commonly called the "golden butterflyfish" in Japanese aquarium circles actually refers to a different species.
It is also known as the sunburst butterflyfish — "sunburst" meaning rays of sunlight — but again, "sunburst butterflyfish" in English typically refers to the millet butterflyfish.
